Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026 • Effective Date: September 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to SurpriseLoom (accessible via our portal). We respect your privacy and are deeply committed to protecting personal data. This Privacy Policy outlines how our service handles data when you generate or interact with custom greeting experiences, including birthday celebrations, date invitations, romantic proposals, and commemorative cards.
By accessing or using SurpriseLoom, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
2. Client-Side Stateless Architecture
When you create a surprise link:
- Base64 URL Tokens: The customized names, selected dates, and personal messages you type are encoded directly into the web URL parameters using standard Base64 tokens.
- No Server Persistence: The decoding occurs entirely within the recipient's web browser using JavaScript. No conversational logs or celebration letters are stored on our servers.
3. Image Hosting & Third-Party CDN
To allow rapid loading without burdening mobile bandwidth, user-uploaded photographs are processed using the external ImgBB API:
- Photos uploaded through our forms are transmitted securely via encrypted HTTPS directly to high-speed cloud CDN servers.
- SurpriseLoom embeds the resulting secure image URLs into your generated shareable link parameters.
- We recommend avoiding uploading sensitive government identification documents, financial credentials, or copyrighted visual assets.
4. Cookies, Web Beacons & Advertising Partners
We may partner with third-party advertising networks, such as Google AdSense, to display sponsored promotions and maintain free accessibility across our portal:
- DoubleClick DART Cookies: Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our site based on users' visits to this website and other sites across the Internet.
- Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google Ad and Content Network Privacy Policy.
- Third-party ad servers or networks use technology in their advertisements and links that appear on SurpriseLoom, which are sent directly to your browser. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs.
5. Log Files & Analytics
Like most standard websites, SurpriseLoom utilizes standard web log files provided by Blogger and Google Analytics. The information inside the log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, and track user engagement. These details are not linked to personally identifiable information.
6. Children's Information
Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity. SurpriseLoom does not knowingly collect any personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13.
7. Consent & Updates
By using our website, you hereby consent to our Privacy Policy and agree to its terms. We reserve the right to amend this policy periodically to reflect operational improvements or regulatory compliance updates.
For inquiries regarding our privacy standards or technical infrastructure, please reach out via our official Contact portal.
